*These directions make an 8 ½ inch bracelet. For a smaller bracelet and a symmetrical pattern you can omit beads from the beginning and end of the pattern. Be sure to use 8mm Cat’s Eye Rounds that have a larger hole, it will make the bracelet a lot easier to complete.
Directions
1. Take both the Red and Blue Buddy Braids and add a crimp bead close to the end.
Squeeze the crimp bead with a pair of crimping pliers (or any pliers you have). Take
the opposite end of the wire and thread a bottom clamp bead tip open side first. See
illustration 1. Close the bottom clamp with pliers and trim any excess wire.

2. String one 6mm Ruby Red crystal round on both wires.
3. String one 8mm White cat’s eye round bead on both wires. Take the blue wire and go
back through the 8mm White cat’s eye round bead, looping in around the outside of
the bead. See illustration 2. Take the blue wire again and go back through the same
white bead again. When you pull the wire tight make sure it is across from the first
blue loop. Now, take the red wire and loop it around the white bead again, in between
the blue wire. Take the red wire again and go through the white cat’s eye bead for the
last time, making sure the red is across from the other red.
